The Riding Corner is launching a new online horse book club modeled after city-wide efforts and college programs entitled “One Book, One Community: Common Reading Programs” aimed at creating a common intellectual experience. Obviously, everyone here is passionate about both horses and riding so we thought that by adding an intellectual bond to the emotional and physical commonalities that already exist we would could strengthen the friendships and connections made here. Each quarter, The Riding Corner’s horse book club will highlight 2 books, one for older teens and adults and one for children. After reading the selected book, just leave a comment to let us know what you thought of the book simply by rating it Great, Good, Ok, Fair, Bad, or Horrible. At the end of the year (May 2015), any registered user who has rated all four book selections will be entered into a drawing and the winners will receive all four of next year’s books for free!
